Last week was busier and more hectic than usual around my home; schedule changes, move preparations, travel plans, out of town visitors. I realized this morning that I will not make it through the next two months if I don't make the time to stop and be still in my Father's presence. I hope my song choice for today blesses you as it did me this morning, Brian Littrell's Over My Head.

I had a song in my head all week that I wanted to share with you ,but this morning came and I stumbled upon this video from Mandisa while I was searching it out.  Last week a  friend placed the verse below on my heart, just when I needed it, and when it came to me again this morning I realized that there was definitely more to it.  For obvious reasons, my music choice has fallen by the way side and I am sharing this instead. Everything is in God's timing, and I am learning to wait on Him; trusting that He is with me through it all.

Music Monday ~ Every Time I Breathe

After searching for a song that suited my mood this morning I came up empty handed. So I thought I would grab another cup of coffee and watch some old episodes of Life Today while waiting for the kids to wake up. I somehow stumbled upon this video of Big Daddy Weave performing Every Time I Breathe while they were on the show...for today it is the perfect expression of how I am feeling. I hope you enjoy it.

Music Monday ~ Revelation

Lately I have found myself far away from where I want to be, where I know I should be, where I need to be. I have been far away from my Father, the only person who totally gets me, so I pray. I pray that He knows my heart, and by knowing that He will understand that it is not my intention to get so wrapped up in what I am doing day by day, going through the motions, that I lose sight of Him. It feels like the same old story, just a different chapter and excuse. The song Revelation, by Third Day, reminds me that God has already shown me the way get close to him, I just need to get off the path I am on and follow his instead!
