Music Monday ~ City On Our Knees

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, it is Music Monday, a day where I invite my fellow bloggers to share their love of music. For those of you that are new to the meme, welcome and thank you for joining us.  The guidelines for Music Monday can be found here and for your convenience I have added the button code to the sidebar on the left.

My alarm woke me this morning with this song by tobyMac, it has been the most played song in my house since Christmas. Unfortunately the only way to share it with you is through a link since there is no embedding of the video allowed. The link below will take you to youtube; I hope you enjoy the song and come back to let me know what you think.

We love Toby Mac! Boomin' is one of our favorite songs. I really like City on Our Knees, but I do not understand all the words. I think I am going to look it up - I know that TM always has a bio for each of his songs.

How funny is this, Shawntele, I had this url to this song on my music post last night and I felt I needed to change it to what I have on now. That is great! A city on its knees and being born again. I think our father knew what he was doing today. :) I love this song!

This is my first time hearing this song ~ I liked it! I think I'll join Ingleside Mom in looking up the bio because some of the meaning is escaping me also...but I really love the calm and rhythmic melody:)
Thanks for sharing your MUSIC with us Shawntele! You know it's one of the highlights of my week!

I've heard bits and parts of this song, but never the whole song at once. Thanks Shawntele. What a great song to wake up to. I have to admit it beats crying baby. It's great to have such a great family out there. Thanks for leading us in Music Monday. It really inspires me and moves me weekly.
