Let me start off by saying that I intended today to be a school day, but my teen came up to me last night and informed me that there was a bunch of basketball games on TV today that he just had to watch, not to mention some great cooking shows on Food Network. ;) What a great day for me to get organized, right?
So, we are cleaning up and doing laundry and such, when I come across these IQ puzzles my Mom sent for Christmas for the kids. Just little metal puzzles that link together, the object being to get the two pieces separated, duh! I could not for the life of me figure them out (even with the instructions). I figure these instructions aren't helping me so I will search on the internet for some pointers, something to help us (me). I sit down and all of a sudden my ten year old daughter comes running up with one of them solved!!! I am dumbfounded, the instructions are still sitting in front of me. "How did you do that?" Well, her eight year old sister told her I was giving away ten bucks to whoever could solve it! Ummm, okay....
Anyway, I am thinking what a great thing to post about since it has been a while since I have ventured onto my blog. As I am logging in, she comes running over again...she just solved another one! I think I am going to give her one of my Mensa puzzle books, she may have a knack for this sort of thing. :)
